Ideal Landscape Group changed its Identity in December 2003, including
a new name, logo, and all the trimmings. We were not
bought out or merged with another company.
So did we choose an impressive, new name because we felt like a
change?
No. Steadily our capabilities and credentials have grown. So
it’s important that our customers and the public could
recognize this evolution. Our new identity is rich in family
heritage. Forty years ago the grandfather of our founder
and president owned his own plumbing company called Ideal
Plumbing, so it was only natural when choosing our new identity
that we give a nostalgic nod to our heritage.
However, the Identity also reflects our commitment to the
future and to the landscape industry and the business community we serve. We have
a partnership with our customers and helping them better
understand our company is just good business.
We also chose a new logo,
inclusive of the message and feeling we tried to convey with
our new identity. The Ideal "ball" actually symbolizes
the earth with a stylized horizon (landscape) stretching off
into the distance with stylized sun and clouds in the sky above
(the upper "swoosh"). The curvilinear elements to the
design convey movement and and project a forward-thinking
mentality. We chose red as our company color to symbolize
strength and authority. As was the goal with our entire
redesign, it also has the added advantage of being totally
different than most traditional landscape firms, something we
pride ourselves on.
What more could you ask for than an Ideal partner. When
we say Better From the Ground Up, we mean it.
